EQUIP AUTO On Tour 2024: the last stage in Rennes sets the tone for EQUIP AUTO’s 50th anniversary in Paris in 2025!
The regional format of EQUIP AUTO On Tour met with a warm welcome throughout its 2024 road trip, and reached a new high point in Rennes on Saturday 28 September. It was at this show that the show recorded its best results of the year in terms of exhibitors and visitors, with nearly 100 exhibitors and more than 1,000 industry professionals in attendance. Through this successful Tour de France, EQUIP AUTO has demonstrated the importance of regularly supporting the industry, offering a format suited to regional specificities, and engaging ever more closely with its market players.
EQUIP AUTO On Tour provided an opportunity to bring together the community of automotive aftermarket and services professionals around a business-conducive, convivial and lively event. From the Repair Show, presented by Laurence Péraud, to the Willys Jeep dismantling and reassembly competition run by François Allain, without forgetting the theme-driven workshops on topics ranging from fossil fuel engine depollution to new tech for workshops, participants were able to exchange, educate themselves and discover the latest new developments in the sector.
The three “local aftermarket panoramas” were highlights of each event, and were extremely popular with exhibitors and visitors on each occasion. By bringing together speakers who were leading figures in each region, these sector snapshots offered a chance to reveal previously unseen market data on local vehicle fleets (age, maintenance, powertrains, etc.), thereby underlining the specific characteristics of each region and the expectations of customers.
With the constant support of their partners FIEV, FFC, FNA and Mobilians, who together mobilised their ecosystems, and building on these three regional events, the organisers of EQUIP AUTO are now turning their attention to their next big event, scheduled for 16 October 2024 at La Seine Musicale in Paris: THE EXTRA MILE by EQUIP AUTO. This new European business gathering will bring together all the players in the upstream and downstream automotive sector for an afternoon and evening of discussions and networking in an unforgettable venue.
In parallel, and with preparations already in full swing, EQUIP AUTO will be making its big comeback in Paris, from 14 to 18 October 2025. Registrations for this event have been open since this summer, and bookings are arriving thick and fast, illustrating the enthusiasm of professionals for the show and its original anniversary edition celebrating 50 years of EQUIP AUTO.
